Krys' love of quilting and her long standing familiarity with digitization provide a unique background that allows her to take the quilting software to its limits. Leona McCann - Menlo Park, CA

Specialty technique: digitizing Celtic Knots in Art and Stitch.

About a year ago Leona fell in love with Art and Stitch. She found a perfect way to learn the software by starting a blog promising to show a new design every day. Everyone could see how quickly the designs got better and better. Inspired by her Irish roots, she started working on a method to digitize Celtic Knots. It took many late hours, sleepless nights, but she did it! She found a method to create knots as in this example as one continuous path, perfect for longarm quilting.

CLASSES BY OUR TEACHERS

Certified Teachers Program

Art and Stitch - Certified Teachers Program

We invite teachers to apply for the Certified Teachers Program for Art and Stitch:

Owners of Art and Stitch who have teaching skills, experience in teaching digitizing or longarm quilting and who are willing to spend 4 weeks on an online training we offer free of charge are welcome to apply. As Art and Stitch is a "top of the line" product, we want our teachers to provide high quality classes to their students.

We encourage every teacher to develop his/her own "specialty", a special technique or way to use Art and Stitch. Goal of this Specialty is that a variety of classes can be offered for Art and Stitch at quilt shows, so that multiple teachers won't be each other's competition.

Download the PDF document for more information about our Certified Teachers Program.

Looking forward to your application.
